Introduction to Microsoft Outlook Express® / Windows Mail®

Outlook Express® is the built-in email program in Windows 98®, Me®, 2000®, and XP®.  Windows Mail® is its counterpart in Windows Vista®.  If you're doing simple email and you don't need features like calendars and task lists, these are ideal programs for you.

You'll need:

• Getting Started With Your New Computer or equivalent experience
• A working computer with Windows® installed on it
• Microsoft Outlook Express® or Windows Mail®

• Send & Receive
• Options/Settings

• Address book or Windows contacts®

Intermediate Microsoft Outlook Express® / Windows Mail®

Build on your knowledge, and learn how to easily find lost emails, set up rules to automatically file or delete emails, and more.

Average course time: 2 hours

You'll need:

• A working computer with Windows® installed on it
• Microsoft Outlook® 97 or higher
• Introduction to Microsoft Express® or Windows Mail® or equivalent experience

You'll learn:

• Message rules
• Searches
• Display preferences
• Address groups / distribution lists
• Add HTML content
